Christian is being promoted!

We are so excited to be able to share that another sweet little one will be joining our family this winter! Our due date is January 7th!

Savory Smore Party

I get together each month with a wonderful group of girls from church to share a meal called IF:Table. The six of us spend this time discussing 4 given questions and it has become such a meaningful time of thinking, conversation and developing deeper relationships with each other. We trade off hosting each month and I knew when it was my turn I wanted to do something different and creative. Coming up with a yummy meal that is both gluten free and vegetarian did pose a dilemma for a bit but I soon (with the help of another friend) came up with a great idea: savory smores!
After scouring Pinterest, here was our menu:

A selection of gluten free crackers, gluten free baguette,  and macadamia nuts for the side

Fresh fruit

Basil, prosciutto, salami, mozzarella, smoked gouda, cheddar, tomato and zucchini

Sundried tomato pesto, pesto and balsamic glaze

Of course we had to save room for dessert too!

Some favorite combos of the night were:

* roasted zuccini, gouda and baguette

* roasted mozzaella, basil and tomato with balsamic glaze

* roasted peaches with balsamic glaze

* roasted salami and cheddar

Sesame Street Live

Thanks to my wonderful sister in law, we were given six free tickets to go a see Sesame Street Live. When we asked Christian who he wanted to invite, he was quick to say, "Rayleigh!" The picture of his face on the bottom right tells it all... he was mesmerized the whole time and loved the show! 

Puerto Rico

I am so proud of my hubby for once again making President's Club at work this last year. We were rewarded with a wonderful trip to Puerto Rico- pool, amazing dinners, birthday morning mimosas... it was awesome!

Just Like Papa

One of the nice things about having Daddy and Papa work at the same office is that when we visit one we always get to see the other! This time C was trying out his skills to see if he would following in the family business...
