Two Months

Christian, you are two months old! Where has the time gone? You have had an exciting month!

Two Month Stats

(Since C was a preemie, we also get his stats for his adjusted age which is 5 weeks old)

Weight: 9 lbs. 10 oz.- 5th percentile, 48th percentile adjusted age

Length: 23 1/8 inches- 50th percentile, 97th percentile adjusted age

Head Circumference: 15 1/8- 25th percentile

Clothes: Christian is transitioning from newborn clothes to 0-3 month clothes. His body type is still proving to make it difficult to find clothes that fit properly! This boy is long and lean.

Play time: During Christian's play time we have enjoyed reading books as he is getting more alert and interested in looking at the pictures. Some that we have been reading recently are Barnyard Dance, On the Night You Were Born, and Runaway Bunny. Christian was introduced to Scout this week and loved hearing the music and seeing the lights on him. C still loves his bouncer but mostly during the morning time. His other current favorite toys for tummy time are his elephant and buzzing bee.

Sleep: Christian was recently diagnosed with reflux which has caused some disturbances to his sleep patterns. We are hoping this new medicine will help! Poor guy gets really uncomfortable laying down. He is sleeping in stretches of 2- 5 1/2 hours. This mom is looking forward to some more consistency! :) He is still in the bassinet in our room.

Development: It has been so fun watching Christian become more alert. He loves looking at lights and is noticing sounds. The other night, while laying on the changing table, he heard Kerry come home and recognized his voice. He immediately turned to see Daddy! The other big moment this month was C's first real smile!!!
