Church Family Campout

Each summer, our church hosts an all church family camping trip up in Bellingham. We did the trip two years ago but chickened out last summer with C still being so young. Well this summer we decided to go for it! Oh and I am so glad we did!

We had a great camp site with lots of running room which was great for Christian. We got to work setting up camp. We got this awesome 2 room tent which sets up in under 5 minutes... awesome!

Christian even got his own camping chair for the trip in his favorite color which he was pretty excited about.

The whole time Christian kept saying "camping, camping". I think he was having a little bit of fun! During the day we played bubbles in the field, played at the lake and on the big playground. We also played "soccer" around the campsite.

C got to experience his first smore. It was pretty funny because he really didn't like the marshmallow and even was a bit scared of it! Graham cracker and chocolate only for this camper.

C slept like a champ so we got to fellowship with the other families around the campfire at night, complete with card games, wine and monster cookies :) 

I am so glad we bit the bullet and did this trip. Such fun family memories made and I am already looking forward to next year!

B & N playdate

While running errands in Lynnwood, I decided to take C on a little play date to Barnes and Noble. He had a blast playing with the train table. He was so excited that there was a Percy train for him to use. He would dart back and forth between looking at the books around him and back to the table, squealing in delight! The mine tunnel was definitely his favorite. 

They also had a lego table. C sat like such a big boy on the chair and played. We will definitely be making a trip back soon!

* likes to pretend your legs are a plane and he is flying
* constantly want to listen to music and will cry "more!" until the next song is on
* started praying on his own, with a bit of help :)

Water Table Fun

This summer we got Christian a water table from Costco... BEST PURCHASE EVER! He has had a blast splashing, dumping, pouring and screaming "wa wa" in delight. :)

Art Time with Daddy!

One of C's current favorite activities is doing stamps. He love to direct us as to what color ink he needs, usually green, and loves the football and soccer ball stamps the best! Ultimately, stamp time usually ends with all of us covered in stamps. :)
