Each summer, our church hosts an all church family camping trip up in Bellingham. We did the trip two years ago but chickened out last summer with C still being so young. Well this summer we decided to go for it! Oh and I am so glad we did!

We had a great camp site with lots of running room which was great for Christian. We got to work setting up camp. We got this awesome 2 room tent which sets up in under 5 minutes... awesome!
Christian even got his own camping chair for the trip in his favorite color which he was pretty excited about.

The whole time Christian kept saying "camping, camping". I think he was having a little bit of fun! During the day we played bubbles in the field, played at the lake and on the big playground. We also played "soccer" around the campsite.

C got to experience his first smore. It was pretty funny because he really didn't like the marshmallow and even was a bit scared of it! Graham cracker and chocolate only for this camper.
C slept like a champ so we got to fellowship with the other families around the campfire at night, complete with card games, wine and monster cookies :)
I am so glad we bit the bullet and did this trip. Such fun family memories made and I am already looking forward to next year!
