Savory Smore Party

I get together each month with a wonderful group of girls from church to share a meal called IF:Table. The six of us spend this time discussing 4 given questions and it has become such a meaningful time of thinking, conversation and developing deeper relationships with each other. We trade off hosting each month and I knew when it was my turn I wanted to do something different and creative. Coming up with a yummy meal that is both gluten free and vegetarian did pose a dilemma for a bit but I soon (with the help of another friend) came up with a great idea: savory smores!
After scouring Pinterest, here was our menu:
A selection of gluten free crackers, gluten free baguette,  and macadamia nuts for the side
Fresh fruit
Basil, prosciutto, salami, mozzarella, smoked gouda, cheddar, tomato and zucchini
Sundried tomato pesto, pesto and balsamic glaze
Of course we had to save room for dessert too!


Some favorite combos of the night were:
* roasted zuccini, gouda and baguette
* roasted mozzaella, basil and tomato with balsamic glaze
* roasted peaches with balsamic glaze
* roasted salami and cheddar
