Two Months

Two Month Stats:
Weight: 8lbs 1 oz (1%)
Length: 21.26 in (3%)
Head Circumference: 14.57 in (4%)

Clothing: Calvin you are in newborn clothes and newborn diapers!

Sleep: You still are up to eat every 3 hours around the clock from your NICU schedule and sleep a majority of the day. You are sleeping in the pack and play in our room. You started to show signs of acid reflux, but thankfully we know what to expect this time around! You won't use the wedge but your back and play is elevated on one end.

Eating: You are nursing on demand every 3-4 hours and we have to wake you up to eat if you sleep more than 4 hours. You have half your feeds breastfed and half is fortified breast milk from a bottle. We are also adding in acid reflux medicine to the routine! I am also off of dairy and soy for your tummy troubles.

Playtime/Activities: You are home! We have enjoyed getting to introduce you to your home- your room, toys, books, etc. You really enjoy laying on your activity mat and being the swing. This month we spent most of our time at home, away from as many germs as possible! You went to an occupational therapist for acid reflux positioning, the doctor for weight checks and MOPS.

Development: You have developed acid reflux, as many preemies do. You are growing right on track and we will not have to fortify your milk for long! You are still very sleepy but your awake times are becoming more frequent.
