There are a few apps that C is currently loving. These have been great when we are at the doctor, I need a shower or anytime I need him to sit still. :)
1. Jesus Loves Me: this app is FREE and is awesome. Thanks to my dear friend for sharing this with us. There are bible verses, a memory game and a sweet video of the song Jesus Loves Me. When he is a little older I think he will like getting to record he own version of the song as well.
2. Disneyland: C can explore everything in Disneyland and it is also FREE! His favorite are the Mater short films and Mickey short films. There are also games, pictures and other videos as well. It makes me excited to take him there to Disney in real life! :)
3. Alphatots: This one is not free but SO worth it! I swear C has learned his letters and sounds so much from this. It has an activity for each letter, songs and tells the name and sound.

Hawaii Part 4
Our last full day in Hawaii we went on a snorkeling adventure. We went with the company Trilogy and had a blast. Usually they stop at two points but, because of recent shark sightings/attacks, we stayed just at one... and I was ok with that! We got breakfast and lunch on the ship and had lots of time to snorkel on the reef. Man our God is creative! Just when I though I had seen all the fish, there was another one different than the one before. After snorkeling, we drank beers and Mai Tai's as we sailed to Turtle Bay where we got to see so many turtles.
Before heading the airport we made one last stop at The Gazebo for some fresh pineapple and yummy breakfast. This trip was such a blessing for us and I am so glad we were able to take a vacation together.

Where should we go next? :)

Hawaii Part 3
We began the next morning with an amazing breakfast at a little spot called The Gazebo. Its one of those places that you would never know about or go to if you had not been told about it. We got there 30 minutes before they opened and were greeted with a line waiting! It was so worth the wait: fresh pineapple. coffee, omelets, yum! ( we ended up coming twice!)

After getting our full from breakfast, we had quite the adventure. Kerry and I both said hand down this was our favorite day. We booked a tour with Hike Maui and got to hike to three different waterfalls and swim in thier pool... amazing! We really lucked out to get an amazing guide as well. Jake was a naive Hawaiian who taught us so much about the history, showed us how to build shelters, what plants we could eat, etc. Seriously, if we were on Survivor, I would want him on my team!

Kerry jumped in! |
second waterfall |
natural shampoo! We could squeeze the plant and gel-like liquid was shampoo. Apparently John Freida bought a whole field of these plants and one flower was $40 worth of shampoo! |
third waterfall |
Jake our guide- a cross between Jack Sparrow and Ozzie from Survivor |
We ate lots of fresh guava, straight from the tree! |
After the hike we stopped by a fruit stand on the side of the road for a coconut.
The next day we relaxed at the hotel with couple massages and time on the beach. Seriously, what could be better?! That night we went to Mama's Fish House for dinner. It has a great atmosphere, fun eclectic decor and amazing food.

Hawaii Part 2
Our third day we went exploring in the Wailea area. First stop was to take Kerry to see the Grand Wailea. We walked through and explored the pools, beach and grounds. Unfortunately they were doing construction so I don't think he got the full effect but it is still gorgeous there!
We had lunch of delicious gluten free pizza at the hotel. I tell ya what, Hawaii is way on top of things for having gluten free options! Seriously every restaurant had gluten free menus which was awesome :)
