Our third day we went exploring in the Wailea area. First stop was to take Kerry to see the Grand Wailea. We walked through and explored the pools, beach and grounds. Unfortunately they were doing construction so I don't think he got the full effect but it is still gorgeous there!
We had lunch of delicious gluten free pizza at the hotel. I tell ya what, Hawaii is way on top of things for having gluten free options! Seriously every restaurant had gluten free menus which was awesome :)
Then we headed off to Makena State Park. It was a gorgeous sand beach with incredible waves. Kerry tried to snorkel here but the waves were just to big. Then the wind picked up and the beach was no longer quite as fun with sand blowing in your face :)
