Stats:
Weight:
Clothes: Calvin is wearing 6-9 month and 9 month clothes and size 3 diapers. He has been borrow a bunch of clothes that Grayson wore so between those and Christian's hand me downs, Calvin's wardrobe is full of memories!
Eating: Calvin is all about feeding himself this month. I feel like meals should be promptly followed by a bath! This was the month of introducing more finger foods. He loves cut up banana, pear and avocado, rice, quinoa, cut up sweet potato, pastina, lentils, toast, puffs, teething biscuits, and little creamies. He is still on a no dairy and egg diet. We tried to add in dairy this month and poor buddy had a rough few days. :(
Sleep: Calvin takes two naps a day, around 9:30 and 1:30, each lasting 1-2 hours. He goes to bed at night by 7:30 and usually eats once in the early morning and wakes up for the day around 7:30. I think he has been teething or going through a growth spurt because the night wakings have been increased to 2 or 3 times a night recently. Cal also only wants to be put to bed by me :)
Playtime and Activities: Now that Calvin can sit, crawl, and stand while holding on to things, he is so active! He lives his activity table, activity cube, exersaucer and just being given a bin of toys. Bubbles are the best thing in his mind and we have started doing some art activities which has been really fun. He is starting to not like being in his jumper anymore and would rather just be crawling around and exploring!
Development: Calvin is crawling everywhere, sitting, standing while holding on to something and starting to master pulling himself up to stand. He now has two teeth, waves bye bye, gives kisses and has no interest in doing sign language. :) We "think" he said his first word this month… and of course it was… Dada! When Kerry got home from work, he picked up Cal and Cal said "Dada!" I think I am in denial that both my boys have said Dada before Mama.
Firsts and Fun:
* Standing
* Two teeth
* Started MOPS
* Stayed with Nana and Papa while we spent a weekend in Vegas!
